FAQ's

  • Access to the site is done through a barrier system with a pin code which will be sent through your emails.
  • We do take tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans, please book as camping pitch.
  • If you wish to leave your vehicle here on your day of departure and walk into Charmouth or Lyme this is often not a problem, providing you vacate your pitch at busy times.
  • Please book seperate units for each individual tent/campervan/caravan, so we are clearer on numbers and spacing.
  • The site is on top of a hill surrounded by high hedges, as a result it is very free-draining but very stoney so please bring a hammer/mallet for tent pegs.
  • We do not have numbered pitches therefore groups can pitch together.
  • If you have not booked electric we ask that you pitch along the hedge in the centre of the field or in the overspill (when open). This is especially important during the school holidays and bank holidays.
  • This is a working farm, we have a small sheep flock and some pet poultry.
  • We don't have WiFi however we do have two mobile phone masts overlooking the site which provide great 4G coverage from all providers.
  • Showers are 50p coin operated for 5 minutes.
  • We have a chemical disposal and grey water tank located in the bottom corner of the field behind the toilet block.
  • There are easy to follow walks into both Charmouth and Lyme Regis with directions on our notice board.
  • The maximum supply to each electric point is 16amps however we cannot allow the use of splitters due to the risk of tripping the power.
  • There is plenty of space on site to set up games, kids to explore and play, also to set up extra little tents or gazebos.
  • During peak times you will have to walk around to see where there is a free space as certain areas/pitches cannot be reserved.
  • Due to the spacing of our electric points please bring as long a cable as possible to give you more flexibility when setting up.
  • Unfortunately we cannot not allow electric vehicles to charge on site.
